Library materials can be returned 24/7 at more than 40 Queens Public Library locations and renewed by phone at 718-990-8508 or online.

Digital materials are available for download, even when we're closed—including thousands of free eBooks, audiobooks, eMagazines, songs, movies, and videos!

EMERGENCY CLOSING

Cambria Heights Library, located at 218-13 Linden Boulevard, is closed on Friday, May 10 for emergency maintenance.

SOUTH OZONE PARK LIBRARY TO CLOSE

South Ozone Park Library, located at 128-16 Rockaway Boulevard, will close on Friday, May 3 at 2pm for a roof replacement project.

We expect South Ozone Park to reopen in approximately 8 weeks.

Mobile library service will be provided on Thursdays from 10am to 5pm, beginning May 9.

During the closure, you can also visit the following nearby libraries: Lefferts, Ozone Park, and South Jamaica.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to work to make improvements to our libraries.

A Historic Day at QPL!

On Tuesday, April 2, Queens Library President and CEO Dennis M. Walcott launched the Library’s “Renewed Promise to the Public,” a long-term initiative to honor and serve the diversity of the Library’s customers and communities that includes changing its name to Queens Public Library, a new logo, tagline, pattern and colors, a new website, and sharpening its focus on customer experience.

The kickoff was held at Central Library with New York City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer, staff, customers, and members of the Friends of Queens Public Library. Learn More.
