Come to an information session with NYCitizenship staff to find out how to apply for U.S. citizenship, and learn about the benefits of becoming a citizen and receiving financial counseling.

Introduction

New Americans Corners is an initiative in partnership with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. Queens Library’s 62 locations and its 7 Adult Learning Centers are creating dedicated spaces where immigrants can find information and resources to become a U.S. citizen.

New Americans Corners Resources

Need to know how to become a U.S. citizen? Every location at Queens Library has a New Americans Corner filled with materials and resources to get you started. Materials include:

  • Have you considered U.S. citizenship (English, Spanish, Chinese)
  • Citizenship Resource Center (English, Spanish, Chinese)

  • Application for Naturalization (form N-400)
